Good intentions, flawed execution
The amenities are exceptional, featuring thermal pools and activities like tubing that cater to all ages. Staff friendliness is unmatched, making every guest feel valued and welcome.
The dining experience fell short with limited options and inconsistent quality, which detracted from an otherwise lovely stay.

stunning views of Arenal volcano, incredible hot springs, beautiful architecture throughout the resort
The dining options felt limited and were not as varied or exceptional as expected!!! Cocktails were overpriced and lacked quality, making them hard to justify during my stay!!! A map of the property would greatly enhance the guest experience!!!

We loved the adventure activities at Club Rio, especially the river tubing! It was such a blast for the whole family. Soaking in the hot springs was another highlight, providing a unique and relaxing experience surrounded by nature. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even to our non-service dog.
My wife says that the lunch options were somewhat limited and could use a bit more variety.

The stunning views of Arenal Volcano were simply breathtaking, and the hot springs thoroughly enjoyable. However, it was disappointing that the dining options didn't quite match the high prices, and some drinks were overpriced. Highly Recommend for Family Fun Seekers
Had a blast tubing down the rapids, it was a total rush. The staff at Club Rio were top notch, they really made sure we had the best time, teaching the kids to kayak with flair.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but worth every dime for the lovely experiences.

We had an unforgettable time at this resort! Exploring the tubing adventure and soaking in the thermal pools made for an amazing vacation with friends. The stunning views and activities kept us entertained all day. The staff treated us like family, truly enhancing our experience. Don't miss the monkey slide!
While everything was great, there were limited lunch options besides the main restaurant, which could be more casual. A poolside snack bar would be a perfect addition.

Incredible thermal pools offer a range of experiences, from family-friendly areas to private, romantic settings. The spacious pathways make it easy to explore the property, which is beautifully integrated into the lush surroundings.
The expansive layout can be somewhat overwhelming. a more detailed guide—preferably with an electronic option—would enhance navigation. Additionally, some dining options feel a bit limited, particularly for casual lunch choices without venturing into the main restaurant.
